Out of the four visited in this town, this was my favourite.
Bustling atmosphere with plenty of friends all in good spirits.
Quirky railway themed atmosphere - right down to the model train running around the walls.
Excellent Deuchars.

Had a good pint of Cairngorm Stag in here before going to see the Rosey Posey play the Loons yesterday, and half of the Alchemy Ritual Pale Ale after the game- wanted a pint but it was going off. A nice beer nonetheless. Good place- my second favourite in Linlithgow after The Four Marys.

Small pub just outside the station at the start of the High Street.
3 real ales on draught with all 3 coming from Scottish breweries. This was the most expensive pint I had during my 3 pub Linlithgow visit at £3.25.
Busy with locals and regulars, nice friendly crowd.
I love the train that runs above the bar on the shelf..nice bit of fun.
Good selection of whiskies also on offer along with bar snacks

Small, friendly bar on the station approach, offering two well-kept real ales.

A fine bar - never had a bad pint. Well-situated for the station!

The previous reviewers have got this place spot on.
It is a small but reasonably friendly boozer. The kind of place where you can get a chat or if you want to be left alone no-one will bother you.
Generally the pint is very good.
As already said however the staff can vary tremendously. There is regular staff and casual. It is amazing that the same person can be good one day and poor the next. They definitely play favourites.

This is a charming little pub. The type of place full of regulars sitting around the small bar which can make it difficult to get served. I agree with the previous reviewer that the bar staff can vary from very good to poor. The beer is usually good.

I like Platform 3 as it has a special charm, probably due in part to its tiny size, but the staff/service can be variable. Some are great, but on more than one occasion I've been served something that tasted like dishwater and was told rather uncermoniously that "we've been pouring all night and not had any complaints" - not exactly what you'd expect of a pub with "Cask Marque" certification.
