I am a big Fleetwood fan.... Always a top atmosphere as well as a good range of drinks, food is always good quality. Always worth a visit.

Very friendly staff and well kept beers. The problem is that it seems like you are drinking in a Starbucks.

I just held a Christmas party at The Fleetwood and it couldn't have gone better. The staff were great to work with and the food was excellent. We had the place to ourselves (it was a Saturday) and we were well-looked after...even down to ordering minicabs for those of us still there at 2am! We'll be back next year.
*Note: not a 10 because the sound system was invaded by gremlins, though the manager was very apologetic and did make it up to us.

I've a lot of time for Fullers' - the beer is often top notch, and they have a lot of very decent pubs in a wide range of different styles and formats. But for all that, they don't half have some rotten pubs about the place, and this struck me as one of them. It's a faceless wannabe-corporate bar in the foot of a faceless glass-fronted office-block in a faceless street round the corner from Moorgate. As with the previous poster, it was near deserted on the weekday evening I happened by, and felt quite depressing. Ales-wise there was Pride, Discovery and ESB. Not worth visiting.

Monday evening and it was completely dead (and yes there are City pubs with some atmosphere on a Monday evening!). The decor is pretty dull after the refurb, but then again this place was ruined with the refurb they did in about 1996 when they turned it from a proper pub into an airport lounge.
Staff were friendly, the chips were very good, but the Pride was not up to Fullers usual high standard.
OK venue - but far from Fullers or The City's best.

going after the food lucnh crowd by the looks of it - new menu, knives&forks at the tabel etc - so just just a boozer anymore
i don't dislike the place and it's close to work...

Shut for a refurb at moment, apparently opening on Monday 28th Jan.

Always been a good pint in here and staff have always been very friendly and helpful.
We had a company do here last year and they catered for us very well, even though some of us were a 'bit' rowdy and 'thirsty' they could see people weren't out of control and in other places the management are sometimes a bit over zealous in that respect.
I only pop in from time to time generally but the staff always say hi and remember me, which is what you want in a boozer.

The london pride was excellent on my recent visit. Unlike many pubs in the area, one can usually get a seat. This pub has working air conditioning, hardly needed with the summer we have had so far, but it was much appreciated last summer, and may well be needed any day now ! Intending smokers should be aware that smoking is NOT permitted at the "outside" tables. This is because the tables are not really outside but are under the roof of the Broadgate development.

Bland, bland, bland - ok to meet someone but there are much better places in the area
|
Yes, not the best beer in the City, but it's reasonably large and air con actually works well... Good place in the summer as you can stand outside - plenty of room. Service is quick and attentive.

Had to send back the Discovery with the new barrel only showing a marginal improvement. Trafalgar was O.K . Not the best Fullers pub in the City for real ale but good value wine list.
