Great pub with a traditional bar to right and large L shaped restaurant to left. Good beer choice; Marstons New World, Doom Bar, Golden Sheep, Harvest Pale, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Hobsons Town Crier. Excellent food with options of Mexican sizzlers and Pizza's as well as the standards. Small garden with two cherry trees. Friendly staff... Give it a go!

We visited the Britannia Inn in Queniborough on June 3rd at lunchtime for a bite to eat. Before the two others joined us I went to look for them from the lounge. As I walked to the lobby, I completely missed the graduated step and fell smack bang on my left eye and hit my nose also.
Nobody seemed to come running to aid me to get up apart from one or two other diners who must have heard me fall. There is no warning of a step into the hard tiled lobby.
It seems they don't deem it necessary to warn customers about this step. The Landlord did not even come to see whether I was alright. A young member of staff fetched some blue tissue paper to mop up the blood but apart from that, nobody seemed to care.

Traditional bar & lounge in a village pub serving Jennings Cumberland Ale, Shepherd Neame Spitfire, TT Landlord and Greene King IPA. A beer festival with 10 real ales was advertised for the bank holiday weekend. This appears to be a community local with various themed nights such as a steak night on a Monday and a quiz night on a Sunday. The small public bar with its 4 tables has a tiled floor and a few original features, including a serving hatch (not strictly the bar, but in an adjacent corridor). Soft music created a relaxing environment. Whilst a TV was showing Sky Sports News without any sound. Nicely located pub with a real village feel.

Clean and bright - good if a little pricey beer

Pleasant old pub typical of the area. Heavy pub grub focus but very good Pedigree as well - good place for a family meal out.

Gone down a lot since it was "Stubbies". Present Landlord seems to do well from food sales but it stinks of chips when you walk in now. No attempt to put the eaters in the restaurant so drinkers can get on with what pubs were invented for which is a shame cos it aint a bad pint . Patrons either not there, cooking or propping up the machines.

I went to the britannia for the first time in years last weekend - What a change to find excellent value and good quality food in the same place. Lovely to see a traditional English pub so full in what we hear are bad times. Will certainly be recommending to my friends.

All the locals have gone next door to the Horse and Groom (a far better pub). The food has gone downhill since Jim and Carol left over a year ago.
It has been turned into a food pub - in fact as soon as you get near the pub you can smell the kitchen cooking filters!

Not a very friendly pub! Owners never behind the bar but in the kitchen cooking. Used to be a local pub but not any more. Food very poor and expensive
