had a great meal on saturday fantastic wine great atmosphere, there was a private party in the end bar i spoke to a lady in the toilets (as we do) i asked how it was going as i need a venue.. she replied flipping marvelous, will be in contact soon x

I feel extremely upset that this lady has made these rather upsetting comments. I organised the Carers Picnic at the Green Dragon. I felt the food & service we received was excellent....it was a picnic . The Green Dragon put up a marquee for the picnic & the band. The weather that day was dreadful....complete down pour The Green Dragon opened her restaurant for all our carers to shelter during the rain...when the rain stopped they put covers on all the seats so none of us got wet....I could not fault anything to do with the wonderful hospitality that the Green Dragon gave us. We have held serveral carers events at the Green Dragon nobody as ever made a comment like this before. I feel for the Green Dragon but also I feel very hurt that someone felt they had to write on this web site and not come to me personally to make their comments to. I could give to a list of carers that would openly agree with me.... Trina Whittaker Braintree Rethink Carers Support Group

I see the owner knows how to respond to a coment just slag people of insted of trying to resolve it calling some one mad is not the best way to talk to people but dont think it sounds like he has people skills :(

I recently visited the green dragon as part of the carers lunch the other day. I have to say I am very unimpressed with this place. Food was average service was poor and i really dont want to return. I have visited many times over the years and i have to say this was the worst. I hope the pub changes soon and returns to its former glory days.

Have eaten here rencently and still not impressed, the service from the short purpled hair maid is just rude. The food is below average as if been done by college drop outs. It was once a fine eatry, with great atmosphere. Hope the current owners realise their mistakes.
|
think the owners dont like to here the truth.
|
Hmmm, it seems that all reviews of the Green Gragon have been removed. I wonder why....
