Central location on main town square. Friendly staff, a few ales to choose from, but somewhat cluttered in terms of chairs/tables.

Fuller's vehicle- soul less, walked out after seeing no beer was above 3.5% and opted for a lucozade from Tesco Metro. Poor.

On a recent visit, I had a pint of Elgoods "Black Dog", which was sold to me as a dark mild, but was nicely bitter. When this 'ran out' I switched to the Square Brewery bitter. I also had Sunday lunch on this visit, and was served a very good stilton and mushroom starter, followed by a well cooked piece of baked cod.

Decent beer and good jazz on a Sunday lunchtime, worth another visit when I'm in the area.

Good friendly pub in the centre of town. They have jazz on Sunday afternoon/early evening. Fullers pub with standard range plus a "Square Brewery" bitter, also from Fullers.
|
The only pub in the centre of town - looks like a Fuller's house, relatively recently refurbed. A reasonable enough place that has regular music and some non regular gues ales (for Fullers that is). The Bowman's Swift One went down well enough on this visit.

One of the best beer pubs in and around Petersfield. Situated on the corner of the market its what I'd call a proper pub.
Had a swift two pints of HSB and Butcombe Bitter which were very well kept. Definitely one I'd re-visit.

Best pub in Petersfield by a country mile.

great pub. Good live music Good beer. It's a true small town pub, in a market that forgets these sort fo pubs are what we're looking for!

Don't know if Jon (Irish Landlor) is still around, funny guy and a real character. I like this place for the people coming there to watch Liverpool

Handy town centre pub

Almost perfect. Will drop a point for the cheesy music. You can make a donation to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution if you like. Or you can simply tend to your drink and not worry about such causes

A pleasant pub in the square. Sells Fullers which is always good for any pub, so a decent range of drinks on offer. Very quiet in the daytime, but the music is certainly loud.
