I agree with previous comments - good cheap food, friendly, looks like a pub rather than a restaurant even if quite a few eat there. Just lancaster Bomber on cask. Has several TV's.

Strange mix of office workers and council estate locals, but food is fantastically weird english/thai mix. Good selection of drinks. Love it

A warm welcome, a tastefully furnished and comfortable pub with large garden. Owned by chinese who are friendly and welcoming - food offered is english chinese and thai. The only thing needed is some new benches outside!

Not a bad pub overall- A lot of potential but now closed indefinitely.
Large pub with extensive grounds so probably a prime spot for apartments. Shame about the nearby estate...

Stop here on the way back to the bus stop after my weekly amble around Dunham. Nice Welsh landlord. Good Lancaster Bomber (Thwaites) and nice to see Warsteiner on tap.
Nice fire in the front room. Unpretentious locals.

Mike and Vicky, the new landlords, are really nice and are making the Bay a much more friendly and family orientated pub. Still popular with the locals (like me) and the beer is always good. Definitely worth a visit!

Good location, handy for the local bike track and the bridgewater canal. A local's pub though don't let that put you off. Don't do food in the evening, but daytimes and especially Sundays, the food is of a good standard. Could definately do with a better smoke extraction system, though on a nice summer's day there is plenty of room outside!
