This is now the Hop & Cleaver. Usually 8+ cask ales on plus unusual keg beers. There's a micro brewery at the back that produces their own beers. Linked to the Red House.

Never changed much at all. Always seems to be busy. To be honest i quite like Offshore.

This was my dad (david gray)'s pub years ago. First on the quayside and was a gold mine. Too bad it's gone downhill now.

All I remember about this place was how unbelievably rammed it used to get. Must have been doing something right - most likely Hooch two for a pound.

back when a pint cost 1.10 during happy hour it was clogged up, so some things never change! & the 'Shore is worth it as the spot to kick off friday nights.. get in early (from 4pm), get a spot sat at the back or in the snug, work thro the cocktail list and you can't go wrong. As for the beer, it never was much to shout about but that wasn't the point, the more you drunk the more you saved!!

Good early on with cheap cocktails but gets far too busy later on, especially at weekends. Worth a visit though.

Offshore is lively on a Saturday Night the Dj is wasted in these type of venue should be in a club is mixing skill is second to none. Go down and listen to him for your self, and let me know what you think

7 years ago this was the best "quayside" night out. Good beer, loads of space & friendly staff. Now it gets too clogged, too early - hard work to get a drink..!
