The Rose and Crown, York

Large multi roomed pub. Up to five cask ales available. The ones I had were kept well. Does food also but I didn't try that.

The Rook and Gaskill, York

Paid a visit here on Saturday 1st February 2025. Note, this doesn't open till 4pm even on a Saturday. Since my last visit a few years ago, the number of cask ales has reduced to 4 or 5 with some ciders.

Beer quality was excellent. I had the Brew York Make It Pacific Sunrise. I also had some fries and chilli which was also good.
