White Hart, Longhamback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Didn't realise I had been in this pub before until I got inside and thought this looks familiar. My previous review shows it was eight years ago. Very little change apart from one of the beers on offer which this time was Fursty Ferret alongside Tanglefoot. Very quiet mid-week lunchtime, in fact no one else except us three. Shame for the lack of trade because this is a proper pub.

The pub is under threat of closure!
Plans for residential development.
If you care please object on the Bournemouth Corporation wenbsite.
Thank you.

A Hall and Woodhouse pub. Four hand-pumps, two with Badgers Best and the other two both had Tanglefoot. A shame there wasn't four different ales to choose from. Meals about 8. A pity the 'surf' part of surf and turf were prawns on a skewer, as opposed to scampi that is normally expected. Definitely has that 'local' feel.

I have been in this pub twice in 10 months both during the Winter seasons and have been given a warm reception from it's staff and open fireplace ! And as a seafood lover I have on both occasions ordered the " Seafood Platter " which consisted of : whitebait , King prawns , scampi , breaded fish with chunky chips and veg with tartar source in centre of plate . A historic house once owned by the notorious smuggler Isaac Gulliver about 200 years ago . I think the pub could emphasise more on it's history rather than darts . Very cosy , friendly, next time I'll bring the wife along !

Popped in once for a pint and a snack and has been my local from then on. Good food, good beer, and good service. Cann't recomend it highly enough.

Great pub. Popped in early evening just after opening and felt comfortable. Landlord busy but had time to welcome strangers. Nice dogs!
