The White Hart, Longham

I have been in this pub twice in 10 months both during the Winter seasons and have been given a warm reception from it's staff and open fireplace ! And as a seafood lover I have on both occasions ordered the " Seafood Platter " which consisted of : whitebait , King prawns , scampi , breaded fish with chunky chips
and veg with tartar source in centre of plate . A historic house once owned by the notorious smuggler Isaac Gulliver about 200 years ago . I think the pub could emphasise more on it's history rather than darts . Very cosy , friendly,
next time I'll bring the wife along !

The Westbourne, Westbourne

I went in at miday for a lunch of Scampi & Chips and an alcahol free beer and
I was asked impolitely to remove my baseball cap . ( which was in fact a Ragatta all weather cap rather than a baseball cap ) . I chose on the daytime
menu a Scampi & Chips lunch which was served to me on a cold plate , followed by a square shaped basket of various relishes which despite my
protesting that I wouldn't need all those ! My voice wasn't heard so I tried
2 types of plastic source bottles only to find that they were still sealed that I had to use a fork prong to puncture them.
