now this is a pub that i really enjoyed, great food and cocktails, really friendly staff which is very unusual for a cocktail bar

Quite possibly the worst burger and chips i've ever had in a pub. And for 10 I would expect a lot better! Not the biggest pub in the world either. It's only plus point is the friendly staff but that's not enough to make me ever want to venture back in here.

Where to begin - the drinks in this pub are so expensive you would think the Queen was renting a room above it. This is a classic example of a pub so far up it's own backside that it sticks out like a sore thumb in the Ealing area. If I want posh i will get on my unicycle and pedal down to Chelsea not go to an overpriced pretentious lacklustre establishment on the way to Acton!
The beers, despite their enormous cost were very nice and the bar staff are friendly enough. The food, although overpriced again, was also very nice.
Overall 5.0/10

Had some lovely seabass and there's a 2 4 1 on the cocktails early doors so you don't really have to break the bank. Yes it's a little bit "up itself" but that's Ealing for you these days.
|
Plus points are that it's a nice relaxed bar and the food is quite nice.
Bad points are the ridiculous prices of the drinks. 4 for a Czech beer that's less than 50p in the shop accross the street is crazy.

Nice food, drinks and clientelle. Some seem a bit like they think they're actually famous LOL!! Looking round to check who's watching them rather than enjoying their night out. Makes for great people watching.
For the smokers, the outside seating is good, especially as it is sheltered should it rain.
The 'smug' notes in the toilets that treat you like the management is your chum makes me grind my teeth a little- trying tooooo hard to be trendy and facebooky. I'll decide whether I like your new menu OK? You shouldn't assume - even better try asking.
A nice bar-perhaps they need to take a hint from their clients and step down the smugness a little! Mind you they have got a nice little place to be proud of.

Lovely location- easy to stumble onto a bus or tube after a couple of cocktails. Quite pricey but there is no riff raff, so worth the expense. Certainly better than any other establishment you will find going further into Acton. Great cheap cocktails between 5-8 Monday-Thursday. Staff friendly, nice pub food. Clean and very well presented. Although, I found the showing of the football in a bar like this didnt really suit the yuppy crowd.

It's okay, nice decor but thinks far too much of itself - I think at almost 4 a pint I won't be coming here often. Nice cocktails though, if a bet steep at 6.80.

Having left Jono's across the road to experience a different vibe, as it were, we found ourselves in The Common Room in the company of Beyonce, Wonderwoman and a lot of other fly bootylicious people. Party time, evidentIy. I didn't think I'd enjoy this place but was pleasantly surprised. Even the young drunken fellow yelling nonsense down his phone and introducing himself to complete strangers didn't phase us. Most enjoyable.

Quite like this place, though wasn't overly impressed with the food. Friendly staff.

+Good staff +nice atmosphere and music +good bar food
-bit pricey -seems to pull in a snobby clientle sometimes
|
Popped in for a quick one and it seemed fine. However i thought that 3.60 was a bit steep for a pint of Pilsner Urquell.

A modern bar, ok service and food, relaxed atmosphere.
Outdoor tables for those warm days/nights - perfect for watching the traffic on Uxbridge Road if that's what you're in to.

Great bar, excellent food. Staff are very friendly and atmosphere is very relaxed. Perfect for Xmas drinks with mates. Fine selection of beers & wines.

Good place for a drink but the little blond waitress was overworked and everything took forever.

A great place to go for drinks with friends. Its also next door to my favorite indian restuarant (Trusha's)
Prices: not too bad Staff: friendly Atmosphere: laid back
Definatly a thumbs up from me.

The best bloody Mary's I have ever tasted in my life, the bar staff are not frightened to make them spicy and they are not too pricey considering considering this is such a classy bar.

Really nice pub. Too nice (makes it a bit out of place in good ol' Ealing Common). Friendly bar staff. Drinks bill can add up quickly after a few rounds. Definitely recommend if in the neighbourhood.
|
It is a good pub, but pricey. I also don't like the whole change in a bowl, why not leave a tip practice

Fantastic pub 10/10

Mature crowd and excellent service - altogether a classy bar. The perfect place for a chilled evening without music drowning out your conversations.
