Drank here once around 2009, friendly place, but when I passed in Nov. 2011 it seemed closed down again. Anybody confirm?

Has been closed down for over a year, but is recently re-opened. It looks better for some fresh paint, but I haven't had a chance to visit yet.

Nice cheap food in the restaurant part. Bar very smoky and in need of a revamp. Live bands here most weekends.

Stayed here for the TT last year and I had a good enough time that I've booked to stay here this year too. As Dave says - loads of characters and all very friendly. The Okells is in plenty supply and the locals drink like there's no tomorrow (I thought I could drink 'til I stayed here). Food is pretty good too.

Not a fan, very run down imo and cramped, but good for a crawl. Loads of characters though
