This pub in on the edge of the Richmond & Hounslow CAMRA branch area. Glad to see it got a look in for the 2013 Good Beer Guide as the beer is consistently well kept here, albeit the variety is always Fullers. It's a Fullers pub after all.

Yet another Fullers pub rounded off my West London day out yesterday. The Beehive appeared to be a rough and ready place on a main road through Bedfont. But the customers and landlord/barman all appeared to be reasonably friendly. With kick boxing on the big screen, Soft Cell and Sabrina playing over the speakers and a purely male clientele, you could have been forgiven for thinking the place was geared towards a local gay community. But I'm 100% sure it's not! Thai food is served and it's currently in the 2013 Good Beer Guide. Recommended for all persuasions, this appears to be a good local pub. Beers on were Chiswick, ESB & Pride.

Is the Royal Oak still in Bedfont or has it been knocked down?

I think this is a great pub, generally very friendly locals. It's a Fuller's pub so Pride and ESB as to be expected, which don't disappoint. Very friendly bar staff. Thai food kitchen is a real treat, all freshly cooked and some interesting flavours. This is a separate business from the pub itself but again very friendly service . We sometimes go for lunch there on a Friday from work as the large beer garden is a treat on sunny days.
Sky sports big screen, great for the rugby although more of a football pub and the darts board in the snug bar is right on target (excuse the pun).

We saw Thai food advertised on the board outside and heard the Fullers ales were well kept here. We tried and we were not disappointed. A suburban oasis in this area. Friendly locals, very well kept beer, and although I was sceptical at first, the Thai food is actually very good authentic cuisine for a pub. This and the Moon on the Square up the road in Feltham are on a par for consistent real ale quality in this area, and CAMRA Good Beer Guide Quality. Will return.

Went there tonight for a pint and suss things out. It turned out that we had a tasty Thai meal and good pints of Chiswick, Pride and ESB.
Will go back!

Recent visit pleasant.Very well kept beer.Loud piped misic a bit of a pain though.Bizarre mixture of 1970s tunes & more contemporary disco stuff.I'd have preferred no music really so I could have sipped my pride & thumbed my copy of
Health & efficiency in relative peace.Still a nice place for a decent pint though.

Visited this pub several times recently & have received a friendly welcome on each occasion.Fullers ales in excellent condition.Overall it appears to be a well run fullers local. One criticism though is the apparent tolerance of a great deal of very loud effin & blindin by a couple of "geezers" at the bar.And i do mean loud.An otherwise pleasant experience though. On balance this is probably the best pub in the Feltham/Bedfont area.

Had heard mixed reviews about this pub, but went in one evening on a quiet week night with my partner and found the reception very welcoming. The staff were easy to talk too, the garden was immaculate with the bonus of a heated smoking area that actual works (unlike some other pubs in the area) We went back a few weeks later on a busy Saturday with a couple of friends, they had a pretty decent band on, and the place was busy, but not crowded. The guys behind the bar even recognised us from our once previous visit and asked if we'd be drinking the same that night, which I felt was a very nice touch. The beer there is pretty good, and although I personally don't drink Stella my friends commented that it was a perfect pint.
I did not get the oportunity to sample anything from the thai reseturant but my friends have been back since and said it was lucious. From the looks of the meals coming out the portions and the standards looked superb and all the plates where going back empty.

I used to look forward to a night at the 'Hive but they lost the Thai food and worse the beer which was a highlight was often yeasty with that dimpled head, yuck...

On returning the beer was back at 90% which helps.

Seems very much a locals pub and not somewhere probably to seek out for outsiders. However never seen any trouble or hassle for people in the pub. Staff were friendly and service was excellent.

Had all the Cheltenham races on as well so a good score guaranteed.

Not a bad place staff are friendly and beer qualiy was good ale was not very lively though.

Ignoring the rather OTT sycophantic previous review, this is actually quite an attractive small community local on the main road from Hounslow to Staines. It's a Fullers pub and the beer was in good nick on my visit last Sunday afternoon. There's a largish outside drinking area at the back, but this was practically deserted as everyone was watching the conclusion of the Open Golf on the box. The pub is one of a seemingly increasing number of Fullers pubs that do Thai food - wasn't on on Sunday though.

Quite a traditional feel to the pub - note in particular the etched windows at the front with splendid beehive logos.

This pub is on the 116 bus route, which, for those who don't know, runs every 20 minutes even on Sunday. The bus stop is close to the pub.

In conclusion, this pub is well worth seeking out

What a fantastic pub, the barstaff are sooo friendly and not to mention good looking!!
Excellent entertainment in the evenings and they are open slightly later on a Friday and Saturday night.
Thai food is delicious and if you go in at lunchtimes you can get anything from a Thai Green Curry to a good old English fry up.
Quite a local pub although they are all very welcoming.
The real ales are extremley well kept; an opinion shared by many whom drink in there!!
The Beehive has a public bar and a saloon bar offering both a lively and vibrant place to drink yet still good for the odd quiet night.
All in all a brilliant pub, fantastic staff, friendly faces and a perfect pint! What more could you ask for?

The London Pride is always a good pint here! Pity everyone cant keep it as well. A real regulars pub in the evenings and frequented by office staff at lunchtimes. Thai food is authentic and reasonably priced. All in all a GREAT place.

Great pub, good beer, food is excellent (Thai, very authentic), better than the school dinner type food normally served around this area.

Real fun pub with lots of activities in the evenings for the local/regular drinkers, live music, disco and quiz nights.

Gets a 9 out of 10 from me (would have got 10 if it could squeeze in a Pool table).

Couldn't keep a decent pint of real Ale if you paid them. Anywhere else this Pub would be regarded as the pits - but hey... This is Feltham so it scores a big SEVEN

The Mysterons play there too
