AS this pub has ceased to be for some years don't you think you should remove the entry?

This is now closed and called Chateau 6

Atrocious as this pub was (and it was, terrible excuse for a beer garden and absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever), it's still somewhat sad to see a pub cease to exist. At least this is one which won't be missed.

A shame though from an historical viewpoint ... the White Hart has been around since the 16th century and was originally called the Beggar's Rest.

Thank god they have finally shut this place. The only business it ever got was the young croud and those who wanted a late drink. Fantastic work by the Slug and Brogan's getting their late license and forcing this place close. Draught beer smelt of urine and tasted no better. Even the fosters drinkers comlpained. Imagine messing up a pint of safety. You literally made a life or death call in ordering a pint of guinness. The broadway will be a much better place.

The White Hart has now closed, sadly...being replaced by some generic-looking placed called SW6 Bar and Restaurant.

Overpriced, uncomfortable old seating, dull and about as lievly on a Saturday night as most pubs are at 11am on Monday morning. Avoid.

Had a hair of a dog here...all I can say is the seating was extremely uncomfortable...Manager started talking to me but couldnt understand what he was on about, he was nice enough though...OK pub, but wonder what its like in the evening.

chavs r us. overpriced but late licence.

Only been in here a few times, once on a match night (great atmos) and once when the tossers over the road (S&L) upset us (see their comments page), so can only say, been in there twice and had a good time on both occasions !!!!

Small pub with absolutely nothing going for it other than a late lisence. Poor service and low quality, overpriced drinks (3 a pint of Stella). Can only think that those below who have said this pub was "great" are thinking of a different White Hart.

The Thai food is excellent and it's a good pub depending on what you are after. Irish bar manager will chat with you for ages, then, when you say hi next time you go in, uou get a blank stare and "Do I know you?" response. Hilarious. Tursday night kareoke - also hilarions but quite a few Chavs.

Why is this pub rated so highly? Lifeless and boring, open until 1 is all very well but if there's no-one else there you might as well go home and carry on drinking with your mates there!

good pub where you can actually have a conversation unlike the slug & lettuce across the road. outside tables are also good after work for checking the talent coming off the tube in summer.

A great pub - food, beer and staff are fantastic. Rates right up there with the Shepherds Arms. Would definitely recommend to all my mates.

A quality pub - always good for a drink and a chat with mates, best nights are Friday and Saturday obviously when it's open until 1, definitely reccomended. Great atmosphere.
