Good night out in here, way better than any of the other late night venues in Hitchin. As has also been mentioned it's a good place to watch sport as well, most football game shown in 3D (as well as standard). Thumbs up to this bar.

This place is just terrible, the food is awful and most of the staff (especially senior ones it would appear) are completely ignorant and rude. On weekends you get ignored at the bar for ages and most of the time the place smells like a sewer for some reason. Much better places for a night out in Hitchin.

Personnally I don't think it would be such a shame for this place to be demolished, the landlady permanently looks miserable and makes no attempt to make non-locals feel remotely welcome, great business philosophy eh...
