Experienced my first weekend out in Hitchin being relitively new to the area. Had a pub crawl around the town this seems to be the place to be for a late night drink, cant really remember what time it finished :-) 2 0r 3ish, was a good range of reasonably priced shots, and cocktails. Was very busy but still got served ok and barmaids were hot!! Definately be back.

This place is just terrible, the food is awful and most of the staff (especially senior ones it would appear) are completely ignorant and rude. On weekends you get ignored at the bar for ages and most of the time the place smells like a sewer for some reason. Much better places for a night out in Hitchin.

It is a bar, not a pub. Selection of beer and spirits impressive (although not real ales) and the service is better than when it first opened. The food is not bad...the tapas selection is great for snacking on although don't expect authentic Spanish cuisine - this is "tourist" tapas. It is a nice place to go if you want something different. The decor alone is worth a look as I don't think the designer understood the concept of "less is more".
