New Inn, Hayes

I went to the recently refurbished New Inn last week, as an alternative to the sorely missed George.
Sure it looks pretty, but essentially they've polished a sh*t. The staff were so disinterested that I almost wanted to combust to get their attention though they undoubtedly would've treated me with the same lackadaisical approach they treat every other customer.
The beer and surroundings are good but the ambience is the equivalent of a pet's funeral.
Avoid.
And they don't let you in if you don't provide a birth certificate proving you were born before 1984.
See, even their age restrictions are Orwellian�
