The Kirkstile Inn, Loweswater

Spent an evening and afternoon here last week. Lovely pub with a real fire and the best ales I have tasted for a long time. Legendary.

Fountain Inn, Bridgwater

Don't know how to keep ales here. Fool that I am I keep trying this place in the hope it improves but invariably the real ales are on the turn and some downright sour. Sadly Bridgwater is a town that knows nothing about ales and how to keep and serve them.

The Star Inn, Crowlas

Only managed to call in once on this visit which was a shame. Beer excellent as usual. Great pub for brewed on the premises ales.
