The Barmy Arms, Twickenham

Had a very pleasant evening in this pub, RUINED BY THE OBNOXIOUS CRETINS THAT RUN THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
Towards the end of the night, the barman told me that they were closing the garden area and asked me to move either into the bar or outside the garden. I moved outside and finished my drink. I then told my friends I would pop to the toilet and then we could leave. This is where it got interesting.
As I walked to the pub, I saw a woman and a man arguing. Not wanting to get involved, I gave them the wide berth. I was then grabbed by the woman and shoved towards the exit of the garden. I was utterly bewildered and struggling to comprehend what was going on. I asked the barman who was outside at the point. �Sorry, I was just trying to get to the toilet, what�s going on?�
�Sorry, we are closed�
�Ok. Wouldn�t it have been better to have told me that, rather than manhandling me out?�
As the barman went to explain, the woman (Landlady) came over and gave me a torrent of abuse.
�Hold on, I am not trying to argue here, I just wanted an explana......�
The Landlord then comes over starts shouting at me , tells me to f*** off and bars me.
�I am not trying to argue here, I was just asking for a bit of courtesy�
�This is private property (followed by swearing drowned out by the original patron arguing with the landlady)
�What makes you thing I would want to spend another penny in your pub?�
�This is my property, now f*** off�
I returned insults and left.
I have never been treated with such disrespect in a bar in my whole life. I was absolutely livid at the fact that I had put money in the pocket of these people that have absolutely no respect what so ever for customers. A simple we are closed would have avoided a potentially very nasty incident, had they treated customers with more violent tendencies than myself.
Do yourself a favour. DO NOT VISIT THIS PUB UNTIL IT IS RUN BY PEOPLE WHO TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT.
