Great pub wonderful location. Welcoming hosts and bar staff lovely - and great music Just been last Sunday fantastic blues band. Food really yummy esp fish n chips and roasts huge for hungry people! Home made Yorkshire pudding. I am a local and keep going back because there is a lovely atmosphere and dogs are welcome :-)

Decent pub and manager/owner seems a nice guy who wants to please the customers. I have only been on very busy days so this review may not be relevant on quiet mornings/afternoons however staff could do with a bit of training on who to serve next.Manager/Owner on the ball however.
Nice outside area. A few real ales on tap. The two we tasted were good and enjoyable. Food good as well but expensive but not much alternative.

No complaints about the pub. The chavs , in the beer garden, who want to tell you about their fancy new cars. Well that's another story.

The location is great and the staff are nice but the range of Greene King beer is not brilliant and more could be made of the pub.

In here yesterday for the first time in years and only two others in at 1.30pm.
This is because they have about 30 or so sitting outside.
Anyway very pleasant interior with very polite bar staff.
They have 4 hand pulls for London Pride, Golden Hen, Tribute and Adnams Ghost Ship.
I had a very nice pint of the latter for £3.85 which is a bit dear in my book.

Maybe we were just lucky but popped in with my mate last week, having been often enough on a match day where the atmos is fantastic.

Had a couple of very nice pints served by very pleasant staff (no sign of landlord or lady as mentioned in so many posts!).

Will certainly be back on our next toddle along the riverside.
