The Kings Arms, Waterloo

Brilliant pub, excellently kept ales, nine on selection now! They also have started doing roast lunches on alternate sundays, be sure to book as they sell out fast!

Love this venue, staff always polite& friendly, new menu, no more Thai just proper British pub grub that's done really well, the burgers are huge & totally smash Byron's offer up the road! Would recommend thi to anyone in the area, it's awesome

The Windmill Tavern, Waterloo

New thai menu with a cracking lunch deal, starter, main & rice for only 7.50! Can't get better than that! Specially when they have Sky Sports and really friendly staff. Have spotted a few celebs in there too, well worth popping in for a beer.....or a few!

The Bell, Leytonstone

Been in there three times recently, the new manager and his staff were drunk on duty. made for hilarious watching & I kept getting giver random pints of Free Guinness......Bring back the old managers, they weren't the smiliest people in the world but at least they knew how to run a pub!

The Hope, Tottenham Court Road

This pub is in major need of a refurb. The toilets are disgusting and the bar looks really tatty. I hear it's now under new management so I hope they do a much better job than the last one as I don't think he was bothered at all. A shame as this could be a total gem of a pub in the right hands....ah well...

The Windmill Tavern, Waterloo

This is a great pub. I very much enjoy going there and not just for the sports, the Thai food is very good value and always looks fresh & appealing. The ales have all always been available when I have been there and the guys who serve them are really chirpy chaps who you can have a bit of banter with. They also have a good wine list so it's great for popping into for post & pre-theatre bevvies. The theatre poster decor on the ceiling and the pictures of famous actors on the walls always keep us amused trying to name as many as we can....

The Kings Arms, Waterloo

as per the previous review (deaks) . I too am a regular visitor to the Kings Arms and I have never received bad service there, even when it is jam packed! The food is great, the ales are even better and sitting in the back room near the fire is the perfect way to spend a chilly evening. I love this pub....long may it last!!!

Awesome pub, I had a great time in there and the Thai Red Curry was perfect for a cold Feb afternoon. Staff very cheerful and a good selection of ales on tap. Will definitely return!!!
