Some good beer but seemed full of loud and aggressive teenagers when I visited. Will try again but not a place for a quiet drink. Food seemed good thoiugh i didn't eat at the time.

have been in here a couple of dozen times over the last two years. bar staff seem far more interested in texting friends than serving and on the lst visit the two of them virtually ignored one bar and concentrated on talking to the regulars. beer was good though which was why i have persevered. A pub who lives on its reputation, I'm afraid.

Nice looking pub but no real atmosphere and the beer on the night i visited wasn't too great either. The Crown around the corner knocks spots of it.

Been drinking here for two years and have found it friendly and welcoming. We all look for something different in a local-for me the decor is not important; the beer is. Consistently good (and changing) ales here, a great garden for my kids, who are warmly welcomed by Jo and Andrew and friendly locals from all walks of life. It's nice to have a community pub-not a one size fits all, flatpacked and homogenised, keg only,no dogs allowed marketing- obsessed excuse for a pub. We have enough of those.

The Lamb, Frome
Room very clean and bright. Beer lovely (but only a choice of three). Staff excellent (and under new management) and food very tasty. The only tiny gripe was that there was only instant coffee for breakfast. Apart from that, highly recommended.
