The Lamb is a Proper pub.. Harvey's Sussex best in top notch condition. Lively, friendly bar to the left with lounge to right in a beautiful ancient building. You can also take your beer to the outside tables next to the church.

Can't believe this one not in Good Beer Guide 2012. Looks a bit foody but passed my ultimate test i.e. a spanking good pint first off on a lunchtime session, ideal temperature, great taste. Top marks.

Food is acceptable though I wouldn't say it''s good. Beer prices are 12-15% higher than other local bars

Yet again the landlord of this gorgeous building has put the prices up and yet again the ay he does it he flys of to australia. Not really surprised but atleast the customers once again know they are paying for it, this must be the 4th time its happened. No wonder the pub is mostly empty during the week

One of my favourite Sussex pubs - recently ate there with a friend early evening Tuesday. The Haddock in ale batter & chips went down a treat. Staff were friendly, as was the landlord.
The Harveys in this pub is always well kept too, so I felt it only fair to indulge in a couple of pints...
