Fantastic refurbishment of a rundown pub, no expence spared, except on the staff who I found spoilled our experience. Good food & beer but will not go back.

A must for real ale fans, its all they sell no keg beer in sight. Norfolk Camra Pub of the year twice.

Real ale pub with the best landlord & landlady you could ask for. The beer is very well presented and wide choice at the right price. A great asset to the area.

What a Change, congratulations to Grain brewery for thier investment and efforts in changing this nogo zone into a great pub. nice real ale and not just Grain beers. lovely Gt and a beer garden which is rare for norwich. Best of luck!

What a disapointment I've been waiting for this pub to re-open and wish it had not bothered the beer was so poor. I was not alone in my thinking as others left with half full glasses. Wife said the wine she had was not good. Its got potential but will need to change.

The Ancient Mariner, Hunstanton
Good potential but disapointing at this time. Beer a tad expensive and uninteresting. Only had a sandwich but bread was a bit stale and a bit expensive as was the beer. Hope they improve.

Great seaside pub much nicer than others close by. Formiderble landlady is great fun and Greek food is good. Nice choice of real ale which the landlady selects by the look of the pump clip

Great pub its everything you want from a local, fine ales & bar snacks. Friendly Landlady Staff & Customers. Why is it not in the good beer guide?
