The Crown, Eastbourne

Since Andy & Jo have taken on this old town pub, They have injected a new life into it. They are friendly and extremely welcoming. If you require something they are only too happy to try and accomodate your requests.
An all round great pub. Very large garden, Pool, darts and a large tv screen for sports events. They also hold a fantastic quiz night on Thursdays. And the latest is Themed Sundays....Usually involves cocktails and outrages ideas as themes...see blackboard for next theme! Only negative if a beer drinker is choice is limited. But well worth a visit.

The Lamb Inn, Eastbourne

This pub seems to have lost alot of its charm in recent years. The customers are becoming younger which is good for money over the counter, but local-ness, if there is such a word, is lost completely. The food is good but overpriced. Not as welcoming to single ladies as my others in the area.

The Prince Albert, Eastbourne

Great for up and coming musical talent. Some great bands appear during weekends. Great for all the sporting events. The food is good home cooking and the bar staff are efficient and friendly.

The Counting House, Eastbourne

Just been taken over by a great new manager who is hell bent on shaking the place up. The food has got better and the garden has been improved. Once again a safe place for the ladies. A great place for pre towning it in the summer.

The Star Inn, Eastbourne

Great local type pub.....regulars all over the place but a friendly bunch. Most of the staff are great with a couple of exceptions! Safe to go in as a single woman.
