Went into this pub on Friday night I've not been in for a while now I know why noticed a lot of drugs being passed about in the men's toilets, patrons all seem to morons landlady one of the rudest people I ever met in my opinion unless your looking to score drugs don't bother

Used to be a really nice public house when Liza was landlady new owner mr brewerton should find himself another topic of interest as has not a clue about pub trade pub is full of reprobates and has a disgusting smell about it staff are always chewing gum and on their mobiles a lot of trouble at weekends so give this one a wide birth

Well looks like more new managers even worse than the previous at least they were not so loud and garish the new female in charge looks like a man in drag and sounds like a very rude cockney the place is dirty,and the patrons are about the same don't think the lines have been cleaned for weeks really poor beers advice to all don't bother even going in

Had a visit to the very clicky bar in woodley last week and have to say I was not impressed bar staff were very rude,landlady with double standards and bad attitude,to much noise from all the tv's,cheap frozen food on menu need I say more don't bother

the chequers has improved in resent months since being taken over,it seems to be getting more people in,its certainly cleaner & more friendly, good real ales that change from week to week. work is due to start soon to tidy up the decor,beer is much better now the lines are cleaned evey week.on the whole alot better than its been for a long time

The Clanfield Tavern, Bampton
Up until recently this was a great place but now yet again been taken over its not so good the new people do nothing to make you feel welcome the new landlord will talk to you if pushed but the landlady I found to be very unsociable and rude Sunday dinners are not a patch on what they were with the previous couple please bring them back
