The White Lion, Stevenage

If you can get over the fact it is yet another Greene King managed house, its quite good. IPA is well kept, staff are friendly, sport is shown; not convinced the regulars are that welcoming, but will persist!

The Proverbial, Stevenage

a soul less place, beer is not that well kept, the no trainers rule is a joke, turning away respectable people who were popping in for a drink! They turned away my friend who is a 40+ professional!

I think the outside area is one of the best in town, as for the toilets, the hand cream and tissues are a really nice touch in the ladies. Shame the stella has gone, but you can't have everything.

WOW. A great covered area outside, well plenty of light and heat. The beer is good, and for an independant remains responibly priced, well worth a visit

The Old Wheatsheaf, Enfield

a clean tidy pub, good selection of whiskeys and with the amount of work that is going on it looks like this bloke is going to be one of the few in Enfield to look after the smokers, god bless him

Cricketers, Enfield

If you like over priced beer and no atmosphere this is the place for you. The AK isn't even ok.

The Old Wheatsheaf, Enfield

Superb REAL pub, good staff, good ale, has SKY sports, but it doesn't drown out the conversation
