excellent mein host and staff, very well kept real ales (i should know ive had a few of them) and food is superb, cannot fault this establishment at all

lovely pub lovely village and great friendly locals.Now owned by enterprise inns unfortunately. Recently taken over by new tennant Sandra. Usually 3 or 4 real ales. Worth a visit !!!!!

agree with the above but its nick name is woodys now great pub great beer usually 4 or 5 different real ales each week all superb and hosts JANE n DAVID are exceptional if your in the area this is a MUST visit place

The Albert Arms, Elephant and Castle
totally agree with all the comments already made.the pub itself is still the same the only difference is a lot less hanging baskets outside.interior still the same quirky style,locals still great, real ale was just starting to take off i.e. spitfire ruddles etc. there is a new manager in there now. nothing bad to say about this pub but am biassed ive just spent the last 6mths as its manager

only been the once so this is only my personal view. whilst the staff where friendly enough i found no atmosphere. when i walk into a pub i can usually tell if it feels right alas this didnt. only one real ale on offer IPA whilst it tasted ok i would not scream about it. general layout of pub is ok. Entertainment looks promising !!! Too many gaming machines for my liking it looked like an amusement arcade. Menu looks good though.

The Market Tavern, Hanley
im a landlord of another pub a cpl of miles away when i do get a day off i always come here to sample the real ales usually 4 or 5 different ones. nice friendly staff. what i like best this pub is bow CHEAPER than wetherspoons which makes me chuckle
