Well must say can’t understand last post. this pub has drastically turned around in last couple months. New manager and staff have cleaned in and out. Even the beer is drinkable now. Music on Fridays and Saturdays and it’s cheapest in town. Heard a refit is due so even more to look forward to. Still a locals pub

Major refurb happening. Reopens Friday 29th Jan. Cant wait. Best beer in Barnet.. Last comments bit weird. Said it was dim. Then it was decorated for Halloween.... Hello. Isn't that the point....

Wow been away for a while but back local. Popped in to see what was up and well, its awesome. Feels like a new pub. Clean and fresh. Great real ales,which is no surprise as they are now in Camras good beer guide. Saw band and was pleased new band sat 11oct and charity nite. Won't miss it

Well been using this pub since july when new managers took over and must say one of the better pubs in barnet. Now has a good selection of real ales on and of a high quality. much cleaner and beer all round better. Was in over christmas when EBOG and the Seabright did there crawl and the service was still supurb. Karaoke on a Saturday is good and football is shown on 7 screens. try for youself....

Popped in other day, lots of changes happening, new managers who are cleaning top to bottom, told food and real ales will be back on in September, looking for dart platers to join local league and karaoke on saturday nights..hope it all goes well...

still the best in the area for Friday night entertainment...karaoke is by far the best and have been featured on channel five and radio Hayes. Was fun singing there with cameras recording you....music is great as well.....and staff are fun..has doormen aswell so keeps a lot of the trouble out

well must say still the best place to go on a sunday night, karaoke is by far the best and as doors are locked at 10.30 it keeps the drunks and idiots out, a great regular place for all karaoke fans and now they are doing a 70's 80's disco night on a friday and its awesome.....dont believe me come see for yourself

update from 2nd feb. went along to watch footie and then stopped for karaoke, good crown this time some great singers and some pub singers was a great night and as New Malden has no other karaoke its the place to go....great music between singers, come and try it out your self....next one on 19th feb

well went for the Karaoke slow but was first night and had a great night even the guvnor got up to sing. Music between singers was good mix of old and new plenty of songs to choose from and the sound was great, next one on the 5th Feb and as the only Karaoke in town should start to get busy,, see you all there

well well can you believe it, the 2 guys that have entertained this pub faithfully for the last 12 months have been replaced by well cant say. found out that guy pub booked for new year let the pub down so they let there loyal karaoke guys down and never even called to say so ...no one in pub likes the new act, to busy taking photos, and hardly a patch on the songs so I wont be going back and a lot of others feel the same...shame was fun while it lasted, hope the pub gets let down again it will serve them right....

been using now for a year and love the place. Great landlord and landlady and staff are pleasing. They have a karaoke booked for sat 22nd and guys doing it are well known, come along and see for yourselves...

Must remark on the last two comments as I've not been on for a while....
ilovedrink toilets are clean and its only the ones worse for wear hit the floor, food is by far the best price and quality especially compared to the owen. and as for karaoke its the best in the area with more songs to choose from than others been to them and know, and by the amount of people ar the karaoke it shows. Irish guy has gone.. and as for the kj drinking its what a pub is for...still you've not been missed enjoy the owen.....

Have to say that the name gives it away, possible a ex punter with a grudge that got thrown out because they wouldnt let him get stoned in there...
and as for the comment before unless you drank in there on a rugby day there is not any beer thats prices at �3.75 unless you mixed the misty up with the cabbage patch.. try it you will enjoy......

yipee after visiting a pub not to far away and finding it had turned to sh*t found where the guys had gone and here it is....if you like Karaoke on a sunday this is the place, great beer and cheap, fun staff and great Karoake...be back next week.. and cant wait to try the food.....

well what a shock, not been in for a while and wont be for a lot longer...what the f*** happened, used to be clean and fun now its the place to go for a shag and gut rot if you eat there. Used to have great karaoke now its got 2 muppets streaming and you dont know if they have the song...shame its gone down hill wont be back in a hurry.

Karaoke has now moved from Tuesday to Friday. Still the best in the area and great beer. Super thai food and Friday nights with Karaoke is worth trying

must say yes rough round edges but beer is very good, lager and guinness. been to a couple karaokes regular girl good but they have a couple guys fill in and wow must say never heard better...and so many songs they make a party night and have everyone dancing great guys and been told there back in october must find out when

After reading some of the comments I first thought I had been in the wrong pub on my last visit. So when we pulled up we looked at the windows, well blow me down I could see through them,apart from the etching and they are real not transfers,about a grand each, yes the bar might be a bit spit and saw dust but unlike a lot of posh pubs there were no cobwebs,dust or dirt anywhere. Beer was excellent, right temp full of bubbles and a clean glass. Barmaid was chirpy and polite and quick,never waited for a beer once. All I can think is sour grapes by other pubs who cant be doing business or punters who have been thrown out. As last comment there is trouble everywhere but never seen it here....so ignore the losers who complain and pop in for a pint

heard about the Karaoke on a Tuesday and tried it...was one of the best.....not many there but they have only just started it and its getting popular....
Recently been refurbished and looks good, great friendly staff and beer good. definatly worth the visit will be back next tuesday.....

well been a while since I posted a comment about the sun on here.
And have to say wow its still great and getting better....
Karaoke on a Thurday is by far the best in the area,and I have tried them all.
And going by the croud in there they all think the same...
At least one saturday a month they have a party for no reason or a birthday, Thai food is good but sunday lunch is great,always plenty to eat and you go away stuffed, and beer garden is fantastic....keep it going guys....

well must say was plesantly surprised with the pub after reading some comments but went in and thought it was a good old fashioned london boozer. 3rd trip now, and like it better every visit. Landlady never stops smiling and same with the bar staff. Had a great Karaoke one and disco which I and others thought was great, why go up the road to a plastic pub when u can have a proper one and beer very reasonable as well

Have been meaning to put something here since I visited back in november.
Was one of the best pubs in the area and customers and staff(manager) brill.
Loved the beer and the darts and players freindly. Will be back soon for another game....

The Railway Tavern, Hampton Wick
was in the pub before christmas for a charity Karaoke night, was ace. for a small pub the locals have a big heart and raised over �600 well done.toilets are now finished and food that is served good..well done you guys a pleasure to come to you.

was in the sun last week and found myself at a beach party, wow what a great night. Atmosphere was terrific, music great and they are doing it Christmas and new year..will definatly be there to party in the new year...keep up the good work......

wow wat a place was in there sat and sunday and what fun...great show on saturday and fun on sunday with karaoke...will use often no trouble great fun, new owners soon and promises to be better still/

Don’t know what’s happened here. Was a great pub well run. Then change or manager no music and bang. Dead Pub. WTF. why change what’s not broken. it is now and most of the crowd are with old manager at Kings Head
