The Jugged Hare, City of London

Without a shadow of a doubt one of the worst pubs we have been to in a long time, Usually a beer man, we had two wines - £21.50p! No atmosphere and very surly barmen.

The Greyhound, Hendon

The new landlord, landlady and staff have really brought the Greyhound up to the mark. Good new food menu at very reasonable prices. Miserable and rude staff are long gone. Beer now well kept. A breath of fresh air.

The Lamb and Lion, Bath

There are many great pubs in Bath, but I'm afraid this is one that did not impress. I had a pint of marston's Pegigree and it was really smelly rotten. Pretty seedy mid-afternoon. Staff were friendy but it was a case of "well, it looks ok".

The George and Dragon, Burpham

This was a lovely pub, and still has real ale But Beware - it's only a restaurant really now with no proper bar seating (see 'we were soon seated' on another comment). I had walked from Arundel and was looking forward to a good pint - had to sit outside. Another good one 'Gastro'd to death'

The Greyhound, Hendon

Better than ever. Quite a few ladies happy to go in on their own. Same high standard of food and Beer. Could do with an extra member of staff when busy. Locals friendly. Most local pubs have shut down and one just down the road gets all the Chavs as mentioned.

Yates's, Newport

This must be the only meeting place pub on the Isle of Wight for Chavs! A 'Fist n' Firkin if ever there was one!

The High Flyer, Ely

walked past several times. The pub is up for sale, music really blasting out, many chavs sitting outside. May improve when sold.
