This is a great pub for real ale. Have always had plenty to choose from and hawkshead bitter is consistently excellent.

The Eagle and Child, Bispham Green
Excellent pub. Well worth getting partner to drive! Excellent beers, great food. Only complaint - it gets very smoky and busy near the bar ... roll on next year.

What a stunning pub! Loved the Bishop's Farewell ... even better than JHB! I will be back when I am in Birmingham again.

Brilliant pub. No kids, no music, just quality real ales. Barmaid Ann best in Merseyside by far. Worked there for 30 years and worth her weight in gold. Perhaps anonymous is person who ate whole meal, then asked for money back! She is not miserable, just fast, efficient and a great judge of character.

Bank Tavern, Keswick
Very nice pub with well-kept Cocker Hoop. Worth a visit.
