The Throckmorton Arms, Coughton
Great ale and a brilliant atmosphere but they lost out on a food sale due to their inept staff. On our arrival we tried to order but were told there was an hour wait for a table in the restaurant area and food could not be consumed in the bar area. However, halfway through our drinks the table next to us were served grub! Weird.

If you like cold chips then this is the place for you, if you can actually get served in the first place.

The Swan With Two Nicks, Worcester
Friendly pub with excellent quality beer. Doesn't look like an eating place but don't be fooled - lovely food served in big portions at a good price!

The Cat And Canary, Canary Wharf
Visited on a Sat lunchtime - service quick for both food and beer. London Pride in good nick; veggie burgers out of this world! Food highly recommended.

The Pack Horse, Hollywood
Thought it might change with the recent new management. It has, but for the worse. The 70s throwback Bob-Fossil-alike gaffer is always too busy playing darts to tend to his bar, where he leaves one poor bloke to try and deal with the frustrated punters, even at busy times. Avoid.
