The Grandstand, Hereford

Not bad, not bad, went in here for lunch last friday and decided to have the ultimate sizzler. Asked for no peppers, no tomato, no onions. Ended up with a tomato and some onions. The steak was slightly overdone, but the rest of it was really nice. We also had one of those candymania things, hell dont they take some eating! Overall 7/10

Wisemans Bridge Inn, Saundersfoot

This was our local when we came on holiday to pleasant valley. The locals are friendly and it is generally a good atmosphere. A nice local when on holiday and at any other time i would imagine.

O'Neills, Hereford

This place is now the hop pole by the way. We went in here after spoons, at least they gave my mate two halves so he could have them in his beer hat lol (youre lucky to get a full one in spoons before last orders) Had never been down the back before but was pleasantly surprised - a really nice layout and a nice patio area, will come back here again at some point.

The Spread Eagle Inn, Hereford

Have sorta vague memories of this place from saturday due to extreme alcoholic intake by this time. The patio area has always been nice at the spread, which is encouraging. Had a couple of beers then moved on. No problems here.

The Imperial, Hereford

Spent our time on the patio area in the imp on saturday, due to smoking (Tony Blair = c%@t) Adequate facilities have been provided and it was a nice day anyway. I sure aint going to give up because the government is trying to force me to. What if the PM smoked, hmmmm.... Yet another good couple of drinks in the imp, cheers.

The Kerry, Hereford

Gave this pub another visit after some chicken curry and chips from the infamous mr chips lol. The beer has improved slightly which is a good sign. Also went back there later on in the evening. The place was packed and the old cheese (Grease) was being played by the DJ. Ah well, cant have it all i spose.

The Grapes, Hereford

Dont really know what to make of this place, gave it another visit on saturday and the place/clientile/everything never changes. The no smoking area is upstairs, which is quite cool, but i am pretty lazy so i opted for the street.

The Lichfield Vaults, Hereford

Nice to see this pub has good facilities for us smokers - a large patio area which is both welcoming and well kept, cheers the Litch, keep it up.

Watercress Harry's, Hereford

Visited this place twice on yet another alldayer. Again, Watercress didnt fail to deliver and we had another good day/night in here, sweet.

The Exchange, Hereford

Almost went in this pub on last saturday, apart from the fact my mate was too pissed to gain entry. For this to happen, he must have been para as the exchange normally lets anybody in and i mean ANYBODY! Ah well, always next time i spose.

The Wellington, Wellington

Was driving round the area looking for somewhere to eat after a heavy night on the beer. We popped into this place and were pleasantly surprised by the layout and atmosphere. The beer was good, but we didnt see anything that caught our eye on the menu so decided not to bother. My only gripe was the dyke sitting reading a newspaper while her girlfriend was serving behind the bar.

The Three Mariners Inn, Tenby

Came in here when i was on holiday with my mates. Really nice pub with a pool table and good food, although it is quite a wait. The beer is OK as is the clientile, worth a visit.

The Exchange, Hereford

Dont really know what to make of this place. Put it this way, if you drop your wallet you kick it to the car before you bend over and pick it up, nuff said. When i visited, it was on an all dayer so cant reali remember dat much. Although it is far better than JD's and The Herdsman, which are both shitholes of the highest order and need bombing.

The Victory, Hereford

This is a real nice pub, which i visited with the pool team from my local. The beer is good and the layout is good, although the clientile a bit pikeyesque. It even produces its own ale ive heard, though im not an ale drinker, this is always a good thing.

The Dragon Hotel, Hereford

Never actually been in here but looks like a complete s*****e from the outside. Once took refuge under the canopy out the front when there was a storm but decided to chance being struck by lightning instead. You can smell the p**s a mile off.

The Spread Eagle Inn, Hereford

I used to come in this pub on a saturday on my lunch hour and always managed to have a nice quiet pint. Its ok during the evenings too, with a restaurant and large patio area. However, people down the bottom end must be ill most of the time because of the apparent sniffing that can be heard (wink). I do like this pub tho and it is always been one of the better ones in hereford.

The Orange Tree, Hereford

Went in here during an all day p**s up and was pleasantly surprised. It is more like a bar than a pub due to its size and layout but has a nice patio area outside and a friendly black lab that looks like he has had too many turbo shandys. Overall a friendly place to be.

The Lichfield Vaults, Hereford

Very nice pub, has a real cosy feel to it. Not one to go in if you are on a night out looking to get completely arseholed, but definitely one to visit if you are mooching around town on a saturday with nothing to do. Very pleasant atmosphere - one of the better pubs in hereford.

O'Neills, Hereford

Only ever went in here once for an 18th birthday night out. The d**k behind the bar ID'd me, when infact he was barely out of nappies. No wonder this place cant keep up with the Litten Tree and Wetherspoons, these are far better boozers.

The Queens Arms, Hereford

I would agree with homerj on this one, although it isnt a bad atmosphere, you do get the retired (aka on the dole) pikeys leering at your missus, or even your mates! Too many pubs in hereford are being frequented with scumbags from the arse end of life. Someone make it stop!!!

19 Jun 2007 12:02

The Imperial, Hereford

The imp is a really nice pub, with a large patio area, good food, good beer (although a little expensive) and friendly staff. Ive never had a bad night in here so far, which is more than i can say for JD's up the road. JD's is a woeful place, full to the brim with chavs and degenerative pikey scum. Avoid like the plague!!! Also, the bouncer suffers from short man syndrome.

The Litten Tree, Hereford

This pub is one of the better ones in hereford. The only pub ive been in in town that ive walked out of sober at one in the morning (usually you need to get tanked up to have a good night in hereford pubs, but i was driving lol) The toilets are a pain in the arse tho (and the legs) due to all the stairs you have to go up. However, it has lots of screens, good beer and a generally good atmosphere. There was this one time though i was at the bar watching the darts and some 16 year old chavette screeched what you looking at, to which i replied i dont know, they dont label s**t. This is the sort of scum you have to deal with in hereford, beware.

19 Jun 2007 11:44

Watercress Harry's, Hereford

Theres just something about this place. We always go in here on a night out and it never fails to disappoint. Fair enough its usually full of chavs looking to hone their burberry cap in on someone, but apart from that there is a TV, a pool table and plenty of seating. There is always a good atmosphere in here on a friday or saturday night and the beer aint too bad.

19 Jun 2007 11:38

The Grapes, Hereford

I like this pub, usually venture into here on a night out and am always glad i made the trek. The beer is good, the clientele are a bit pikeyesque but not too bad as long as you dont bring up scrap metal in a conversation! It is a large, traditional pub with pool tables and two bars. A good place to be

19 Jun 2007 11:34

The Kerry, Hereford

I dont think this is a bad pub, one of the only ones in hereford that serves carlsberg, although it is usually warm. The DJ is a bit of a t**t, simply because you ask him to request a song, he mumbles something that resembles in a bit. A bit later, your song has not come on, ur p****d off with drinking warm beer, so you leave, simple as. Has good potential though.

19 Jun 2007 11:28

The Kings Fee, Hereford

Overall, not a bad pub, drinks are cheap, lots of areas to sit and chat. However, bar staff (where are they), no atmosphere whatsoever and the ageing clientile, that usually consists of mindless pikeys that have nothing better to do than spend their dole money on getting absolutely spannered. it is amazing to think that this place was once a kwiksave though
