saveyourmoney can you please tell us what was wrong with the food as i go to the butlers arm every week for dinner and was in on sunday for dinner and there was no problem with anything served that day as allways the food was fab as was the service

again went to the butlers arms for a meal and again got to say wow wow wow since i last went there a few weeks ago they have got a new menu and what a menu it is has so many differnet dishs i just could not decide what to have and same with my 3 other friends in the end i went for the monkfish and this was a fantastic dish 1 of my friends had a seabass and the fish was huge the other 2 had lamb rump served perfact at medium and sirloin steak which again was cook to medium as they liked to finnish of we had 4 differnt pots of mrs dowson ice-creams between us

came here for a meal on 23 august for a table of 4 expacting a real good meal came away very disappoited cold food bad service i would not go here again give me the butlers arms anytime good food and service at a good price here is bad service cold food and expensive

what has happened to this pub came here a few months ago and had a great meal and what i got last night 20th may 09 was truly disgusting
