we love this pub along with the traf, the soldiers are not a problem, this pub was once featured on britains toughest pubs.. i was drinking there then and still do now, the new management has brought a calmer atmosphere with them, its nice... def worth a visit if you dont want the rowdy crowds of the main town,.

prob best thing this pub for is the cheap drinks. its ok to get u started but this pub has no atmosphere... staff really rude too.. u get a lot of the aldershot looneys, alcoholics, oldies and losers in here...

always packed solid, too packed to dance and when you had few too many its a hike up the stairs to the loos, i have fallen many a time..lol. music to get u in the mood. good selection of drinks, last stop b4 the dire club..

cocktails fantastic. knock u off your feet, i thinks its the woohoo or something.. this is like the trendy bar in the shot.. def worth a visit.

ignore the post by yorts, theres no peril with entering this pub and the paras left aldershot in 2000, although still visited by old regulars, any one is welcome. a total variety here.. although the pub still has a military theme and is now owned by ex para. he has refurbshed and it looks fantastic, a real old fashioned local, not like these comercial pubs you find in town. a great place to drink with plenty of friendly characters, watch out for james the mad scots man (hilarious) and mad one tracey ( equally amusing).

i seen what this pub like, i was married to a para and they are all after one thing in this pub, the married an all.... but hey some gals like that...
