| I was surprised to see bouncers on the door here. But it soon became apparent that this was more of a nightclub than a pub. It has a large and open interior with a little seating around the edges. The drinks selection was John Smiths Extra Smooth, Guinness, Strongbow, Strongbow Dark Fruit, Fosters, Carlsberg, Carling, Amstel, Stella Artois & San Miguel. | Now called The George and it's an awful place....the last reviewer was very spot on mentioning Jeremy Kyle! 1 ale on amongst all the lager's and alcopop deals. Had 1 pint and returned to the station to get back to civilization...well London at least lezford - 5 Aug 2013 13:52 |
| Have you ever wondered where Jeremy Kyle finds the 'guests' for his shows? Well now you know! That said, this is a great place to have a pint and be a fly on the wall. one would not want to be seen as a participant thought. Not sure beer has been kept that well. but so cheep, who is bothered? | This pub is one of the more upmarket pubs in the area great for taking your partner out for a romantic meal or for a quiet drink with the freindly regulars the food is top quality the drinks are well kept and all at a reasonable price one of the cleanest pubs i've ever been in neverendingpubsearch - 29 Jun 2011 10:50 |
