It was a Thursday the rain outside was running down the hill like a torrent, but we were warm & snug inside, very welcoming landlady, addlestones cider food excellent & fairly well priced, good banter & locals friendly. well worth a visit

Visited Sunday afternoon made very welcome by barstaff (Robbie & Henrietta) hence 3 more return visits, I had a few pints of summer gold & was advised to try the cheddar valley orange stuff, very tasty & easy drinking, but was scared off by horror stories from the locals of over indulgance, look out for live music nights, very enjoyable locals very friendly & we will visit again.

Walked from Osmington & got there at 4:30 to be told we close at 4:00, its a pity they did not deem to put it on their sign at Preston, it looked lovely but we will never know ?
