Probably the the most unpretencious pub in Alty. Good ale and not pricey. I have always enjoyed this pub and its characters, and would recommend a visit.

The Bells of Peover, Lower Peover
Pub looks good, but the food is poor. Ok for a couple of pints but thats all.

Friendly pub with well kept Pedigree. Decor traditional and comfortable. The food is good.

Devoid of atmosphere since it was done up. This pub is certainly popular. Good for real-ales.

Definately worth a visit. Great beer. Excellent food. Friendly.

This place has gone right downhill. Used to be a vibrant pub, but now it's cold and unwelcoming. No real-ales. I wouldn't return even if the beer was free. Go to Didsbury village instead.

Good real-ales. Good jukebox. Food good value. Have enjoyed some local bands here! Good atmosphere with a varied clientele. Recommended.

Good for the juke-box and range of real-ales. Bad for decor and comfort. Worth a visit though!

The food here was very disappointing. This has put me off returning, even though the beer was good.

No real-ale here but it's friendly. No food as there's no kitchen. Could do with selling pies, sandwiches and pickled eggs!

The Stonemasons Arms, Timperley
Has improved lately with the introduction of Bombardier. Only downside is the disappointing food.

Someone has bought the lease on this pub! Why? I only hope that the standards of this pub improve drastically, as the beer has gone up a lot, and soft drinks are extortionate. Rumour has it that 29,000 was spent refurbishing the place - you can't tell from looking, apart from the painted brickwork. Beer not to my standard. Let's have a pub to be proud of - we've been waiting years!
