Scarlett Arms, Walliswood

Love this pub as we checked it out several times before we agreed our move to a property locally. The staff are so attentive, the beer is well kept and the food is to die for. Well done Tracey x

The White Hart, Crawley

Fantastic pub, best in town centre. Warm welcome, great bar staff and really polite regulars. Great food especially Sunday lunch which us great value. One pub I have walked into as a stranger and left as a friend. So worth a visit.

The Crown, Capel

Really try to like this pub as the only one in the village but would rather buy booze to drink at home as it is so anti social. When I moved to the village I hoped that the pub would be the social centre but in fact it's the social club of Newdigate villagers who have several drinking holes they don't use as they have been barred so many times

The Abinger Hatch, Abinger Common

So was a good pub when Chloe ran it. Gone downhill on the food side but the cellar is still really well kept so highly recommend it for a drink. Really lovely staff, just can not fault the service.

The Gate, Ifield

Extremely quiet pub everytime we have been and yet it takes an age to get served. The beer is okay and the food is expensive for such poor quality. Really strange atmosphere so not going back too soon

The Rat and Parrot, Crawley

Not the nicest place in Crawley, beer okay but not as bad as Shades

The Pelham Buckle, Crawley

Really scary pub and walked out with out buying a drink. Advertised as a warm welcome in local press but we felt really intimidated in this pub.

The Flight Tavern, Lowfield Heath

This pub used to be brilliant when owned by Bass. The only saving grace was that they had London Pride on tap although not the best kept. The food was below average and the waiting service extremely poor. Certainly not recommended.

The Lamb, Rusper

First visit to the Lamb this week and was highly recommended by friends. What a great pub with a really warm welcome. Food and service excellent. The pub prides itself on using local produce and it really shows. Good range of well kept beers served perfectly. So worth a visit.

The Crown, Capel

I used to live in Capel until 3 years ago and stopped using the Crown many years ago because it so full of really ignorant 'regulars' mainly not from Capel and has been so clicky. My husbands elderly parents still live the village. A few Sundays ago we agreed that we would try out the Crown for lunch as it was within walking distance of the in-laws. Okay the sunday roast was okay but definately not the best in Surrey. The bar service was appalling thanks to the rude regulars hogging the bar and restuarant staff were rude and unhelpful. As per the previous reviews, this pub may have changed ahnds but the 'regulars' really pull thi pub down. I would to thank the driver of a red land rover from a Dorking based caravan company for making it so difficult for elderly and infirm people to enter the Crown through really disgusting parking. Shame on the pub and shame on the 'regulars' for anti social
