The Malthouse, Ironbridge

Looked like the staff were walking off with the fixtures and fittings, but apparently a new owner is refurbishing. No atmosphere hopefully will improve.

The Golden Ball, Ironbridge

Much busier than the Jockey. Beer ok but just not as good an atmosphere as the Jockey.

The Battle of Trafalgar, Brighton

Oh no, run out of Harveys, fairly loud music playing, half empty by 9:00pm on a Friday night, I hope this is just an aberation as this used to be one of the best.

Victoria Hotel, Eastbourne

Excellent local, although a minor criticism is that the menu is a bit limited

The Sussex Ox, Milton Street

By 'gone up market' and 'go to a harvester' these people betray their snobbishness. This used to be a great pub serving good home cooked food, with the best childrens facilities around. Now, as a previous writer has stated, it has pretentions to being a restaurant, but can't cut the mustard I'm afraid.

The Counting House, Eastbourne

Good place to sit outside in summer, and possibly the only place you can do this is the Old Town area. But personally I don't the beer's as good as the Lamb or The Tally Ho.

The Lamb Inn, Eastbourne

Fantastic pint of Harveys, but food I had was very ordinary and overpriced.

Hurst Arms, Eastbourne

Agree totally with the comment above, best real pub around to watch the footy as well.
