Bankes Arms Hotel and Country Inn, Studland
Visited today whilst out on the bikes, had a pint of broadoak which was as flat as a witch's tit, house white was a very cheap bottle and not good either. I suspect this pub is only open as it is the only one in the area and they serve food which after our visit I'm glad we didn't have.

Been going here for years, always great food and beer, traditional village pub on the cycle path. You need to book for food but it's worth it. It's how a pub should be.

Great pub, mixture of old and new, great food although on the pricey side. Great summer pub to sit outside by the river.

Unfortunately the stench from the toilets which fills this place makes me avoid. Very basic pub and flat cider. 1/10.

Proper old school pub with live music on weekends. Thatchers gold always good, might look a bit rough but good all rounder. Toilets terrible though!

The White Hart, Weston in Gordano
Nice pub, on last visit in the summer the landlord and ten others played some live music in the beer garden. Good beer and food too. Good summer pub.

The Black Horse, Clapton in Gordano
Fantastic place, off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Looking forward to some more visits in the summer.

Visited for evening meal, good food and service, more food led than a drinkers pub. Aspalls on tap excellent. Not the cheapest though.

Nice enough place but ridiculous prices, pint of thatchers gold and white wine £9.05! If you want to avoid bankruptcy go somewhere else.

Great location let down by very poor food and general attitude by the staff. The last straw for me was a birthday gathering for drinks and food which ended up in two of our party ill (having eaten different stuff), and only a couple of beers drunk.
As a local I will never eat in this place again unless they have a major change in both kitchen and landlord.

The Hall and Woodhouse Bar and Restaurant, Portishead
New build right on the marina, made from old shipping containers. Inside is good with large bar area downstairs and restaurant upstairs.
Food and drinks very expensive though, food is good although portions pretty small. My biggest complaint is the price of the drinks, nearly a tenner for a pint and a small wine.
Great position for the summer evenings by the boats but you really pay for it.
