Slug and Lettuce, Canary Wharf

Why does anyone bother with this dreadful place, even Henry Addingtons round the corner is better than this, at least they do decent beers, although as usual in these sorts of places, you have to ask for your pint to be topped up each time!!!

The Rising Sun, Coltishall

I work in London and am used to overpriced beverages, sadly I've found another pub that gladly overcharges for mediocre beers and wine.
I wasn't the only one complaining about the prices as I overheard numerous customers remarking on the charges, not just for drinks, but also for food.
Only stayed for one drink as I didn't have any more money.

Ye Olde Watling, Mansion House

Couldn't agree more with the last two comments, I was also served short measures each time I had a pint.
I watched one of the bar staff on numerous occasions pulling the handle so quickly that the beer was frothing over the top. The measures he served were not just short but way off the mark and sadly, he didn't seem to care one bit about how he served them. What makes this situation even worse is the fact, that due to the way he was pulling the pints, he was forever emptying the slops tray. Hopefully the landlord reads this and puts a stop to it straightaway as he must be costing them a fortune.
Plus, this guy was from the UK and not one of the 'foreign' bods..........
A cracking pub but be prepared to ask for your pint to be topped up each time - don't let them get away with it as they won't ask you whether you want a full pint!!!
8/10 for the pub, 0/10 for the way they served their drinks

The Rose and Crown Inn, Allgreave

A sad old pub in chronic decline. It's location suggests dramatic scenary, which is without doubt impressive, however the place literally opens it's front door to a major road.
We ate tinned soup and disgusting toasted sandwiches in the saloon bar, which failed to warm up during the time spent there, despite the presence of numerous radiators and an open fire.
To suggest the only ale on ofer was real is an understatement.
