this pub was ok, just holding off the chav way of life with one out streched hand until it was distracted by a tap on the shoulder by a chav from behind. Now oh! my gosh we are in chav land. So if your a chav you will be very happy but if your not just walk on by. 03/10

The Beef and Barrel, Ponders End
this pub does not ask much and there for does not get much in return. the beer is ok at an ok price, the pool tabele is not easy to get on due to too many people. and gets too crowded on friday and saturday night! So there for not much in the way of marks from me. 03/10!

beer good at a good price. L shaped bar with 2 pool tables and a v.good juke box. In the summer you can go outside on the new decking where live bands play and are of good standard.

had not been here for 6 years thats a long time to wait for a drink, but went with mr monkfish and am happy to say that it a very good pub for all the resons mr m has given. The great seletion of beer is the plus, BUT there is always a but. The price. do not be put off by me go have fun, cos thats the point of your evening!

i only drink there after football cos its colse. beer good and at a good price. but the service is so bad do not want to say anything more on that. but get rid of the manager!

the beer is good and at a good price! bar staff are very good (they can remember your round even if they served you an hour ago!) nice new lay out.

great service, great beer all the time, never colored water! good seats, good tv's for sport. but people should leave the bar area once they have their drink so others can get their's! just a thought.

beerguru you are so right enfield does need a good 30something pub. but it is cheap!

Bar Form, Enfield Town
this bar i think has just about got it right atmosphere, seating, beer, cocktails, DJs, fit fem staff! that is in its self worth spending the nite and the money.
