The Brockley Barge, Brockley

When I walk in, I always get the feeling I should take a ticket. Its like a cross between a DHSS office and an EasyJet departure lounge, with some truly horrific corporate art on the walls....That said, the beer is cheap and sometimes drinkable...good luck!

The Royal George, Deptford

If you ever want to see what a pub looked like 100 years ago, pay a visit! A wonderfully preserved local boozer. It has all its origional fixtures and fittings...including a heated brass foot rail around the bar. Being Sam Smiths, it carries all its own brands, which are very reasonably priced. Very friendly pub, only downside is no draft!

The Talbot, Brockley

I remember this place as an old local boozer before it got the Shorditchification treatment....However, that said, Harveys is usually on and always well kept. The staff are friendly, the food is pretty good and priced about right. This pub probably wont dazzle you, but its definatly a nice place to sink a few on a summers evening.

Orchard Bar and Kitchen, Brockley

West end prices in SE4! The owner clearly has a business 'concept' with this place. Overly constucted; Pretentious food menu. More like a creche than a bar during the day...The wine is very good though.

The Wickham Arms, Brockley

This used to be a cracking pub when Tom ran it....busy, friendly, good mix of people. Regrettably the owner's son took over the pub and buried the place. It never really recovered and limps on, changing landlords almost as frequently as the barrels.
