Has got better but still not really worth the effort to travel here unless happen to be passing. Don't even think about drinking more than one beer, the landlord proactively writes down car reg numbers of patrons and passes info to the police, but if you are not over the limit and all legal then it is not a problem
Still a bit down trodden although they do now sell real ales.
Might even have new staff as I could find no evidence of the baggy trouser spotty gangster rapper wanna be's present.

Young bar maid chucked us out of this pub after being here for little more than an hour seated outside with my Son and grandchildren.
My grand kids and daughter in law were sat the whole time and made no fuss , just sat quietly as a family when the young girl came out and said 'sorry no kids you must leave at once before (someone) gets back.
We pointed out we had been here on or third round of drinks, albeit mostly soft drinks apart from myself and not once was this mentioned or did she bother to come out side to collect glasses. Pub was very quiet anyway. We were not even allowed to finish our drinks that we paid for. And she stopped us from taking our bottled juices away with us too. They must be so well off they can let this bratty abrupt teenager behave like this. Outrageous. We have just purchased a lovely bungalow a few minutes walk away and we shal never return.

I couldn't agree more with the last post comments remarking on how filthy the place is and I was amazed and the stroppy and sulkative child-like waitresses.
Swearing every 5 mins from behind bar and kitchen, not an ideal family venue.
Food piss poor even though it is cheap.
Often run out of ale and certain lagers. Clueless inept management.

Caters for under aged punters.
My neighbours two fifteen year old daughters in their most weekends getting trollied on alcopops.
Ganja smoked by customers and barstaff girl outside .
But ale not too bad . Once a fortnight is enough for me.

Too intimidating to walk past in evening and weekends, always drunks outside behaving aggressively.
Council and police just let them crack on knowing it was common knowledge that it was a hideout for druggies

There was so much urine on the upstairs floors that the floorboards are covered in scented sawdust.
The bar is downright disgusting. And as for the fat bloke running it.. Well..

Massive punch up with local travellers yesterday. Even the feds were hiding around the corner.
Pub got trashed , again.

What on earth happened to his place?????It's fu*king dirty , toilets filthy, no toilet roll, no hand soap, excrement all over the floor and wiped all over walls.
A dog urinating up against the wall. The people working there are the spitting image of shameless cast. Unkempt and scruffy. Talking poppycock. Totally uneducated family working here. Romanian Gypsies are and live cleaner than these gobshites.
Large , plump girl who stays there, daughter ? Having it off wit all the older blokes and was noshing one off in the beer garden late on evening.
No shame at all.
Beer was warm and loads of flies rampaging behind the bar.
Everything in sight dirty. Even the clientel are rowdy and taking drugs at the bar.
Nice place to go for a fight or for some undesirable locals to buy drugs with their benefits money.
Stay well clear.
