The Twin Farms, Kenton Bank Foot
Always got a good range of beers on which are generally well kept. Also pub fairly well laid out in terms or lots of different areas to drink. Worth a visit

Went in on a Tuesday night. Good little crowd in there. Some eating what looked to be lovely tapas. Doom Bar was a good pint as was the American Steam bitter. Very pleasant music and good atmosphere in there. Will definitely go back.

Popped in at around 9pm on a Thursday night. Was served quickly and efficiently with a good pint of Harvieston and a curry. Food was tasty and beer was well kept. The pub was busy and it struck me that the crowd was very mixed in terms of ages, nationalities etc I often bemoan the fact that pubs are getting more specialised in terms of appealling to particular markets but this proves that there is still room for a boozer for everyone.

Called in on a Saturday afternoon after a good walk. Was quiet but friendly. Two good beers on. Looked to be geared towards food but still a proper pub. Worth a visit

Has two nice pints there recently. I just arrived at the wrong time as the packed theatre had just emptied for the interval. The bar staff were very efficient though and I found a place to sit around the back. Will definitely return soon.

Went in recently when down on holiday. Great range of well-kept beer. I think you would call the locals a funny lot of old timers! They are however, a friendly bunch and make the atmosphere. Make sure you visit when you are in the area

Went recently during the day. Had three well-kept beers on and was pleasant to sit near the bar. It looked a bit busy with eaters further down but everyone seemed happy and contributed to the laid back feel. I think it gets a bit more frenetic in the evenings during holiday times

It's a nice pub but it's all about food. I went recently at 6.30 on a Tuesday evening. Granted it was in the school hols but was bedlam. There was a line of people standing up in the bar waiting for eaters and drinkers to finish so that they could bag a table. I would find it difficult to relax with a pint with hungry diners breathing down my neck. In the end we sat outside and had something to eat which was OK but nothing special. Would try to avoid at busy periods but there is limited choice in the area.

Better since it has been done out. Low key but interesting music on Thursdays are worth visiting for

Visited becuase of its entry in the GBG. Wish I hadn't. It felt very run down and the quality of the beer was poor. I won't be going back

Pub has recently been bought from Punch Taverns by youngish local. I was staying locally over Easter and went twice. They had two well kept beers and a real cider. One night we had some bar nibbles which were very nice but a bit small for the price. The other night we had meals and were very pleased by quality, quantity and price. The pub needs refurbishment but I think the owner will be doing this as and when he is able to.. The left hand bar was packed on the Friday with locals and there were a few tourists in having a meal. All in all a pub well worth supporting

Great pub. Good Shepherd Neame beers. One of the best in the area

Went on Friday after work. Agree it was very busy but loads of bar staff on and no trouble getting served. Tried a few beers and were all up to scratch - except a dodgy pint of Harveys. Will call again.

The Magpie and Crown, Brentford
Excellent range of beers - very well kept. We went on a Saturday evening and were impressed by the friendly atmosphere there. Bar staff were great and v helpful in calling a taxi at chucking out time. I will definitely be back.

Richard I, Greenwich
Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Pleasant atmosphere (I was put off going into the Union next door because of the braying I could hear before going in). I had a nice pint of Special. The food looked good and seemed to be appreciated by those who were eating. I would definitely go in again although I wouldn't go miles out of my way.
