Nice pub for a drink, although can get a bit full of rowdy lads and some chap who keeps asking for money to send kids to Lourdes. Friendly staff though and the food is reportedly pretty good.

The White Horse, Balsall Common
Went here for lunch on a Saturday recently. Really good food and very friendly staff. Sat outside on their decking and had a very pleasant time. Recommended.

I used to like this pub more - it's comfortable and friendly. The prices have shot up in the last year and it's really only one I visit when friends are there. The garden room is nice though and the staff are invariably excellent.

I often nip in here in the afternoons and they have some decent beers and good food. Friendly staff and I've enjoyed a few music and quiz nights here as well. My favourite pub in South Ealing.

The Rose and Crown, Thorpe Green
Went here with my parents for an evening meal recently. Extremely good food - steak was on a par with �80 a head restaurants in the city. Service was good and the seats comfy. I'll definitely be back to this little gem of a pub.

The Royal Oak, Haslemere
One of my favourite pubs in the area. Very friendly staff, great prices and really good food. They usually have Doombar or Landlord as well.
