Nice pub for a drink, although can get a bit full of rowdy lads and some chap who keeps asking for money to send kids to Lourdes. Friendly staff though and the food is reportedly pretty good.

The White Horse, Balsall Common
Went here for lunch on a Saturday recently. Really good food and very friendly staff. Sat outside on their decking and had a very pleasant time. Recommended.

The Royal Oak, Haslemere
One of my favourite pubs in the area. Very friendly staff, great prices and really good food. They usually have Doombar or Landlord as well.
