The Fiddlers Elbow, Brighton

Nice enough, but done up in that slightly over the top "Irish Pub" way, like an Irish Pub for tourists!
But it does have a great feel to it, very friendly, and a nice pint.

7/10.

The Earth and Stars, Brighton

For sunday roast, get there B4 1pm, as it does get busy, we got there after and had to wait a long time, and the staff seemed a bit confused to what food went where, so food was left on the bar getting cold while they worked it out! They need to sort this out, as our food came slightly cold, and didn't feel like complaining, as didn't want to wait any longer!
But it was good food, and the pub has a nice feel to it, and as mentioned, it's very eco friendly...

Went on a friday night as well, and it was packed, but still good. recommended - 7/10.

Ye Olde Reindeer, Banbury

I can only echo what's already been written, great Ale (Hook Norton), traditional british food.
Ale & Steak Pie went down a treat.
A very, very traditional feel to it - 10/10.

The Gowlett Arms, Peckham

The best thin crust Pizza outside of Italy, truly Amazing.
A constant rotation of Real Ales on tap, there's always something new.
Great music, a pool table, friendly crowd and bar staff.
An outside heated/covered terrace for the smokers and clean toilets.

There aren't any downsides to this pub...

10/10.

The Kings Arms, Brighton

A friendly pub, nothing special and they love dogs.
A great place to go and have a pint with your dog.
The only downside side is , it stinks of dogs.

The Bulldog Tavern, Brighton

Rude and Arrogant Bar Staff!

I won't be going back.

The Barley Mow, Brighton

It's just good honest english food/sunday roasts, but much more than your average pub food.A wide choice menu, and an even bigger specials board, it's not brilliant, and it's not bad...
Old Skool sweets to buy behind the bar, along with lots of board games to play.
A heated/covered out door area for the smokers, and for the non smokers on a hot day.
A good selection of real ales on tap, but I wish they would rotate them more, as it always seems to be the same one's.

The only downside is, the toilets are disgusting!

7/10.

Would be a 10/10 if a few things were cleaned up and sorted...

The Coopers Cask, Brighton

By far hands down, the best 'Sunday Roast' in Brighton.
I wish I lived closer, as I'd go there more often...
The only downside is that it's small and compact, so get there early.

The St James Tavern, Brighton

They've just recently done the toilets up, so it's gone from a 5/10 to a 9/10.
Great atmosphere, lots of Rum's, if that's your thing.
Oldy worldy irish feel to the place.

The best Thai food outside of Bangkok....

The only the downside is they could have more of a variety of Real Ales on rotation, but they don't (as yet).

The Ranelagh, Brighton

Nice pub, and great live music (blues mainly) on various days (thurs & Sun mainly), it used to be very smokey, then the new laws came in, but they have a beer terrace, with heaters and cover in the winter, and some varied ales on tap. The only bad thing I can say, is the toilets are disgusting, and I hope they sort them out soon...

7/10

(would be a 10/10 if the toilets were sorted)
