We also stumbled upon this pub, and popped in for a few drinks... Beer was Harvey's Best and St.Austell Tribute. After deciding it may be a good place to eat and asking for the menu, we discovered it served Lebanese cuisine... I have to say it was one of the best meals we've had and at a very reasonable price... stuffed vine leaves and Haloumi to start followed by Prawns and squid mains... Nice staff, busy and friendly... Great pub!

Whilst venturing on the cask marque trail we stumbled on this great pub which sold some great thai food. Try the spicy fried rice and the thai fiscakes. The beers were from a local microbrewery which we didn't see in any other place in Brighton. Friendly service and a relaxing feel to it.

Hard to argue with the other reviewers - this is at least one of the best pubs in Brighton and I've tried quite a few of the others. A very relaxed atmosphere, the food looked good and handy if you only have to stumble across the road to one of the guest houses in Madeira Place.

The best thing though is the 80+ rums on offer - they have all sorts from all over the world. I'm an ale fan but didn't get to them either night I was in.

Best boozer in Brighton and one of my favourites anywhere. Very friendly atmosphere with a wide range of people in there.

Was there a week ago.
Beer (Hogs back) was very well kept and the place has, thankfully, kept all of its old friendliness and atmosphere.
The loos are now immaculate and therefore seem alittle out of place!
Great pub.
